The lancers got off to a hot start and had an early double-digit lead, leading 22-10 at the end of the first quarter. After a tightly contested second quarter, the lancers were able to maintain a 12 point lead at the half.

The lancers were able to extend their halftime lead to 16 early in the third quarter. This lead did not hold however, as the Raiders finished the third quarter on a 20-8 run, ending the third quarter down 54-50.

The raiders then opened up the final quarter by taking the lead, going up 55-54, but the lancers were able the raiders to just five points in the final seven minutes of the game. The raiders fell 72-60, the result marking their 10th loss of the season. The bright spot to the game seemed to be sophomore Nolan Ivey scoring 15 points in the effort, a game high for the Raiders.

The Raiders battled hard and were able to comeback after a rough start, but in the end were unable to generate enough offense at the end of the game to give them the win.
