Using a suffocating defensive press and consistent perimeter ball movement, Boys Varsity was able to beat Falls Church for the second time this season. “I’m really glad to beat our rivals again, we have a big week coming up and playoffs are looming so this will give us great momentum,” said senior Forward Lars Erceg-Warner.

The team topped their season high scoring with 82 points and allowing 72 from the Jaguars offense. Despite a volley of fouls in the first half, Cole Kniatt and Chaz Alexander’s combined double digit blocks staved off the Jaguars Offense.

Stuart’s offense was led by top scorer sophomore Nolan Ivey. Ivey finished the game with his personal season high 24 points.

Stuart continued the defensive pressure against the Edison Eagles allowing only 44 points and scoring 55.

Stuart faces Marshall, Lee, and TJ this week to round out their regular season play.
