On Apr. 12, the girls’ varsity softball team faced off against the Riverside Rams at home.  Although the Lady Raiders’ lost 16 to 1, the event still had great highlights, and the spirit of the team never wavered.

The game kicked off with two clean outs at first base. In the bottom of the fourth, Second basemen Vielka Solis had a double play when she caught a fly ball and tagged second base. In the fifth inning, right-fielder Baraa Osman secured second base and took home.

“We didn’t focus on the score,” said pitcher Macy Dodson “ We just played our hardest.”
