Every year, the holiday season rolls around and with it, a gift-giving frenzy begins. Many of us don’t know where to start. According to BBC News, a recent trend is to follow the “four gift rule,” which is to get a person something they want, something they need, something to wear, and something to read.

Some creative gift-givers may also decide to give “experiences” as gifts.
